CORTALIM

SERNABATIM

Remnants of an old colonial building... In the foreground is the "ambassador" car....very robust with hand gears...my mom learnt driving on this..

RACHOL-SHIRODA

Old remains of a gateway right in the centre of the road. Was interesting to see the priests cycling to The Rachol Seminary in South Goa, originally a Muslim fortress it was first converted by the Portuguese into a church and later into a prison. In the late 16th century, it acquired status as a seminary for Theological Studies by the Jesuits

Sugarcane juice cart...was so refreshing to drink this in the summer

Goa is so green...

SHIRODA

We were so hungry after travelling for the whole day on our scooters. We found this chai shop with this little boy as our waiter. He has an incredible smile and a glint in his eye. His fellow workers were teasing him...they like you so much maybe they'll adopt you..It was nice to have potato bhajjis and chai...

Potato bhajjis and pav just around the corner..

This old man was so happy to get his photograph taken..
